Sadie's Love Scholarship

The Sadie’s Love Scholarship is inspired by Sadie Shattuck, a 2015 Ionia High School graduate, and was created by IHS teacher Danna Fuller in 2018. Sadie’s commitment to humanitarian causes while she maintained a high GPA and held a job went far beyond IHS students was Danna's inspiration for the scholarship.

Sadie does everything with a positive attitude, a beautiful smile, and a generous and giving heart. Sadie is the personification of authentic generosity of spirit, kindness of heart, creativity, and intelligence. Sadie is currently working at PACE Southeast Michigan, a nonprofit in Metro Detroit that cares for older adults.

Sadie’s Love Scholarship was created in honor of her loving spirit and determined action toward being the change she wishes to see.
